Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use Vault.
Your Content
You own your data. We never claim rights to it.
Fair Use
No illegal content, abuse, or misuse of the platform.
Termination
Either party may terminate at any time, no questions asked.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, downloading the Devnet Vault application, or otherwise accessing any part of the Vault service (the "Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Service. Devnet ("Devnet", "we", "us", or "our") reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.
2. Eligibility
Minimum Age
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
Legal Capacity
By using the Service, you represent that you have the full legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction and that you are not prohibited from doing so by any applicable law.
Geographic Restrictions
The Service is intended for global use but may not be available in all jurisdictions. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with local laws and regulations.
3. Account Responsibilities
Master Password Warning
Due to our zero-knowledge architecture, Devnet cannot recover your master password under any circumstances. If you lose it, your encrypted data is permanently inaccessible. Keep your credentials safe.
Account Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at vikas.02k02@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary to keep it accurate.
One Account Per User
Each person may maintain only one free account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent storage or feature limits is prohibited.
4. Ownership & Licenses
Your Content
You retain full ownership of all files, passwords, and data you store through the Service ("Your Content"). We claim no intellectual property rights over Your Content.
Limited License to Us
You grant Devnet a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence solely to store, transmit, and technically process Your Content for the purpose of providing the Service. This licence terminates when you delete the content or close your account.
Our Intellectual Property
The Vault application, website, design, trademarks, and all underlying technology are owned by Devnet and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our express written consent.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
Store, transmit, or distribute illegal content of any kind.
Upload malware, viruses, or any malicious code.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our infrastructure.
Conduct denial-of-service attacks or otherwise disrupt the Service.
Scrape, index, or harvest data from the Service using automated tools.
Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without authorisation.
Impersonate Devnet, its employees, or any other person or entity.
Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
Devnet reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules immediately and without prior notice.
6. Plans, Payments & Refunds
Free Plan
Vault offers a free tier with limited storage and features. We reserve the right to modify free tier limits at any time with 30 days' notice.
7. Service Availability
Uptime
We target 99.9% monthly uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or aspect of the Service at any time. Where feasible, we will provide reasonable notice before significant changes.
Data Backup
While we implement robust backup procedures, we strongly recommend that you maintain independent copies of any critical data stored in Vault. We are not liable for data loss resulting from hardware failure, force majeure, or similar events beyond our reasonable control.
8. Disclaimers & Liability
As-Is Service
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Devnet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of data, revenue, or profits) arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Liability Cap
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you to Devnet in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Devnet and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgements, awards, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
Your violation of these Terms.
Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.
Any content you store or share through the Service.
Your use of the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
10. Termination
By You
You may close your account at any time from account settings. Upon closure, your encrypted data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
By Devnet
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you where legally permitted.
Effect of Termination
All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability — shall survive.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Devnet is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction therein.
For users in the European Union, nothing in these Terms limits your rights under applicable EU consumer protection or data protection laws.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the new Terms take effect and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For minor changes (e.g. grammar corrections, clarifications), we may update without advance notice.
Continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and may close your account.
